The Moneyverse presents insights into one of humanity’s most significant inventions – money. Four Money Worlds illuminate the subject from different perspectives: history, economics, society and the individual.

What does the most bizarre piggy bank in the collection of the Bern History Museum look like? You will find answers to these questions and more in the exhibition spaces The Phenomenon of Money and Money Laboratory. In Money and Me, people share stories about their personal relationship with money, covering topics such as financial independence, poverty, happiness and wealth. At the Money Bar in the Money and Us exhibition space, you can engage in conversation with our hosts and share your thoughts, for example, on the future of money.

The Swiss National Bank has the mandate to ensure price stability. How exactly does the bank do this? That’s where the exhibition space Money and the National Bank comes in.
