Berner Generationenhaus

The Berner Generationenhaus is a unique place of encounter and dialogue. Its aim is to strengthen social cohesion and relations between the generations. Age(ing), intergenerational justice, empathy - the Berner Generationenhaus focuses on topics that move generations and invites dialogue with exhibitions and events.

The Berner Generationenhaus unites selected social institutions under its roof. The offer includes information, counselling, education and life support for all generations.

There is space indoors and outdoors to work, read the newspaper or get together in a cosy atmosphere. The Cafébar provides refreshments all day long. Those who wish can bring their own picnic - there is no obligation to consume anything. As a conference venue, the Berner Generationenhaus also offers rooms for events, conferences and banquets.

The Berner Generationenhaus is an institution of the Burgergemeinde Bern.
