Libraries are much more than just repositories of books: they are places of learning, social interaction, and cultural exchange. They host workshops, provide researchers with specialized information, organize cultural events and language cafés, encourage children to read and help students develop information literacy skills, lend out seeds, tools, or popcorn machines, and some even have fully equipped film and sound studios.

On March 12, 2027, we’ll celebrate the diversity of libraries at the sixth BiblioWeekend—and we invite you to join us. Discover the “Festival of Libraries,” visit your local library, or explore a whole new institution.
