Design and the living environment

Town planning, architecture, lighting or advertising: our environment is typified by designed shapes – although not everyone is always aware of that fact. Less tangible, but equally important, is conceptual design: looking to the future.
The Kornhaus Forum is deliberately based in the city centre. It focuses on central themes guided by the reality of life in Berne today – with an outward-looking approach and a willingness to break out across frontiers. Attractive exhibitions, lively discussions and practical presentations are open to everyone  who takes an interest in their immediate and wider environment.  A platform with such a strategy must always be on the move. 2018 will be an opportunity for the Kornhaus Forum to explore new perspectives, beyond its regular events.
